WHAT TO EXPECT

If you’re new to working as a barista, or about to start in the role, join us to tighten the nuts and bolts of your practise with our Barista Skills Foundation Course. This Speciality Coffee Association (SCA)-accredited course covers the essential knowledge and skills you need for making coffee in a professional capacity.

You’ll learn about the origins of coffee and the key differences between beans, because understanding these nuances are the key to making really good coffee. Then you’ll get practical, with guidance on how set your grinder, brew an espresso and texture your milk. All of this will be taught in the context of the hospitality industry, considering health and safety requirements, as well as customer service considerations.
