See what Team 200 have been up to alongside the usual coffee business over the last couple of months.

AARON: SUPERSTAR GM

In December, we opened our 22nd shop, and were thrilled to see Aaron, a firm favourite of a Leeds Bond Street shop step up to General Manager at Junction 32. Aaron is a Yorkshire success story: "From a humble barista, I’ve worked my way up through the wonderful world of coffee over the past 11 years. The support from the 200 Degrees has been amazing and I could not thank everyone enough! My manager Aimee has helped me to achieve my goals and has taught me so much to help me grow as a person."

THE NEXT GEN COFFEE NERDS

At the tail end of 2024, our intrepid coffee geeks went to inspire the next generation of keen beans at the Wells Academy School in Nottingham and gave one year group insights into the origin of coffee and the industry. Our account manager Bex said "It was a pleasure to share my own personal story of how I got into the industry; I think it showed the students that not every journey to finding your dream role isn’t always a typical one. The students were super engaged and asked some awesome questions."

PANTS FOR PIZZA, TOOTHPASTE FOR COFFEE

As part of our annual Swap Shop charity day, we ask customers to bring in toiletries and hygiene items in exchange for a free drink. This year we received hundreds of items, to donate to charities across the country. In our Head Office and Roastery, we responded to a specific request from local homeless charity Emmanuel House for men' boxer shorts. So we tasked our team there with bringing in pants, and for their troubles, they'd get pizza expertly made by our Roast House Manager Blazej. We were thrilled to be able to donate a full coffee sack of undies to the charity, which were immediately handed out to their service users.
