V60 - Ritualistic Coffee Brewing

BREWING ON A V60
We've all seen them being used in specialist coffee shops. The barista gently and thoughtfully brews your coffee, immersed in the experience. Now you can be as good as the best, with these simple tips.
Time: 3-4 minutes
Number of Cups: 1 Cup
Equipment & Ingredients:
- V60 dripper >
- Filter Papers >
- Tea spoon or scales
- Gooseneck Kettle > (but a normal one will do!)
Ingredients:
- Coffee: 15g or 5 heaped teaspoons – coarse to medium grind (we can grind this for you if you don't have a grinder)
- Water: 250ml of boiling water, left to cool for 1 minute (ideally 94°)
Recipe

Place the filter paper into the V60 and pre-wet; discard this water.

Add the coffee, and place the V60 over a cup and onto your scales.

Slowly pour about 60ml the water over the coffee in decreasing cirlces.

Pause for 30 seconds to allow the coffee to bloom.

Repeat steps 3 & 4 until the water is gone.
- Let it finishing dripping, and then enjoy!
