Exclusive for the month of March is our Women Farmers gift box of coffee. Three amazing bags of beans farmed by a whole heap of strong and fiercely independent women in Mexico, Ethiopia & Guatemala.
Mexico - Woman Power
Taste Notes - Caramel, Apple & Tropical Fruit
A unique coffee, grown and produced by 20 women in the Zongolica region of Veracruz, Mexico. This limited-edition blend is our tribute to the expertise of women coffee farmers in Mexico. The region is deeply influenced by the rich, ancestral heritage of its people, most of whom identify as part of the Nahuas indigenous group. Across generations, the Nahuas have shared their language and wisdom about plants, rivers, animals, mountains, the planet, and the universe through storytelling by their elders.
Guatemala - Switch Up, a coffee that makes a difference.
Taste Notes - Milk Chocolate, Red Grape, Floral
In support of our chosen charity Switch Up, a charity who empowers young people to break the cycle of crime & gang-criminality. This speciality grade coffee showcases the work of women farmers across Guatemala in support of gender equality. Find out more about our Switch Up coffee here.
We'll donate £1 to Switch Up for every kilo of coffee sold.
Ethiopia - Mrs. Burtukan Geremew
Taste Notes - Raspberry, Elderflower & Grape
We are proud to offer this exclusive coffee, grown on Mrs. Burtukan Geremew’s farm in the Yirgacheffe region, Ethiopia. It’s sweet and smooth with winey fruit acidity. Grape, berry and some floral flavours.
Mrs. Burtukan's farm is located in the highlands of Idedo, known for their production of the highest quality Yirgacheffe coffee. While coffee from this region is typically associated with a blueberry flavour, this particular coffee offers a delicious raspberry taste, with a refreshing clean finish.
